Directions for Youth & Families impacts over 5,000 youth and their families each year through mental, emotional, and behavioral health services. We are a resiliency-oriented, trauma-informed agency working and training with experts and educators. Through counseling, education, and support programs we are proud of the impact we have in contributing to a healthy community – one individual, one family at a time.

Our 75 counselors provide counseling at no charge to youth and families in their homes, schools and community settings ensuring there are no barriers to receiving the support they need.

We believe in social justice. Social justice is about equality for all of us. It is about recognizing that certain communities lack basic needs and acknowledging our responsibility to be a seed of positive change. We believe in community restoration. "We believe communities can heal themselves. They just need some support along the way.”
