A vote for our boat supports summer reading. Each summer central Ohio readers of all ages participate in Summer Reading Challenge, an engaging way to keep reading skills strong over the summer. Keeping reading skills strong is especially important in the summer of 2022 as we join with our schools in addressing learning loss over the past two years. From June 1 through July 31, participants can earn a free book to keep, along with prizes and raffle entries, all by reading! Readers can sign up at all 23 Columbus Metropolitan Library locations, as well as online at columbuslibrary.org/summerreading. Entertaining and educational programs are available at your closest library branch throughout the summer to engage young minds and to encourage ongoing learning. Summer Reading Challenge also helps people discover great new books along the way - library staff is happy to help!
