Your Pet's Story or Bio
Bella is my COVID cat who chose me in September 2020 (a stray who just came into my kitchen and stayed!). While I named this black beauty, Bella, I sometimes think I should have called her “Shadow” as she follows me and stays by me, always! A true homebody (unlike her wandering cat-mates, Lexi, Pippin and Pixie), she is like the other black cats in this contest in that she is very, very vocal, loves to play fetch, and basically admonishes me if I ignore her or if I come back too late for feeding time.

Fun Fact
Bella’s nicknames are “Baby-Boo” and “Chubby-baby”; however, when I’m in the kitchen cooking and cleaning up, she’ll jump from the kitchen counter to the top of my refrigerator and then observes me intently – at that point, her nickname becomes “Chairman Meow”! Bella will also sit on the window ledge like a sentinel, and growls when people approach the house or come to the front door. Clearly, this black cat has a German Shepherd
