What's your purrmance story with your cat?
The kitten seen in the photo's name is Cass. He was part of a litter of four feral kittens that I decided to foster because the animal control I volunteered at said that they were too feral to foster or adopt so they would most likely become barn cats. Mooney, Lily, and Jade adjusted quite well and became quite friendly within the first couple of days. But Cass hid and could not be handled without gloves due to the fact that he'd attack/bite/scratch anything that came near him. Despite everyone's concerns I continued working with him until finally one day I heard him purr for the first time. Cass may have been a feral cat but with a little bit of love he finally came around and was the sweetest kitten I ever fostered. Most animals raised in the right environment and given the proper care can be rehabilitated into a furever loving pet. Hopefully more people will consider fostering and adoptions after this :)
