Howard & Fuzzy
What's your purrmance story with your cat?
While living in Japan I used to visit a local book store. One day I went into the store and heard a really quiet meowing coming from a box with a sign on it just inside the front doors.
At the bottom of the box was this little ball of orange fur curled into one corner crying. So, not reading Japanese very well, but knowing Free in any language, I took the tiny kitten home with me to my apartment. She had been found by someone at the store on top of their car motor trying to stay warm. a few of her paw pads had blisters on them from the hot engine.
I ended up bringing her back to Canada where she quickly got comfortable with our 4 other cats and made a point of completely claiming ownership of me.
Because she has such long hair, and really hates to be brushed... I have scars to prove that... I have to shave her a couple times a year... I always so it so she looks like a tiny lion with a big fluffy mane and a poof at the end of her tail. It is funny that the day she gets shaved, she also gets really fast. and tears around the house at top speed trying out her new lower wind resistance.
For some reason she loves chickpeas and can tell the difference between a can of them and a can of tuna being opened.
