Kyle & Asha
What's your purrmance story with your cat?
We fostered Asha and her brother just before Christmas 2012. My girlfriend works for the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA and someone threatened to drown them if they were not picked up. They were about 5 weeks old at the time. Asha's brother Hardy was orange with blue eyes and you couldn't really see his ringworm lesions. Asha on the other hand was white and had had crusty eyes, litter caked into her little paws and her face was almost bald from her ringworm infection. Once they had healed, we knew Hardy would be adopted right away, but we couldn't part with Asha. Now two and a half years old, every night at 9:30 on the dot she brings a ball to me in her mouth and we play fetch. She's got a great vertical jump and she always brings the ball back like a dog would. She always makes us laugh and she's never far from our side.
