Pet's Story or Bio
After 22 years with me, I lost my beautiful cat in February 2021.
It took me very long to grieve, but I realized I needed--not in place of my deceased cat--another companion to bring some light and happiness into my home. I looked for weeks and finally chose maybe five or six potentials to view at the CASPCA.
When I arrived, the main office was incredibly busy, so one of the volunteers handed me Rita and said, "She is what you want." She was not on my list, but she looked at me, and at that point, I knew she would be my pick. She stayed with me every night as she got familiar with the house's layout. She never woke me in the morning, scratched the furniture, was picky about her food, or did anything " bad" cats do. She chases water bottle caps and brings them back to me. She is such a wonderful, loving cat. I feel blessed.

When did you adopt your pet?
