Pet's Story or Bio
Dora (her previous name) was listed on the Adopt-A-Pet website and was fostered by a Norfolk rescue group. I'd been looking for a female companion for my 9 YO papillon mix male (also a rescue adopted in 2017 from a Kentucky rescue group) for several months. Adora lived her entire life, 9 years at that point, with an older woman who unexpectedly entered assisted living. She's been a real challenge - having been the only dog and now sharing attention was not to her liking! She's a true diva & tells time (especially for meals & treats) very well. Recently Adora had 11 teeth pulled & needed, actually demanded, extra TLC during her recovery. Her favorite treats are strawberries and tomatoes; sadly she senses the day I plan to harvest from the garden and beats me to the picking! Adora & her brother are happily bonded now and their antics give their pet mother much daily joy.
