Kinley was a rescue through Green Dogs unleashed. She was surrendered by an older couple who got Kinley as a puppy and were unable to manage such a large dog. Kinley was in foster care for 3 months before we found her and decided to adopt her on Dec. 23, 2022 (we surprised our kids, then 5 & 9 with an early Christmas gift!). Within 24hrs of adopting her she was comfortable enough that our kids were laying with her on the floor snuggling, showing the power of foster care on how well dogs can adjust to their new home. Kinley and our lab, Hattie, are best buds, and Kinley loves snuggling on the couch with her family. This picture was taken Dec 2023, a year after she was adopted, and we sent it to her foster to show how wonderful Kinley was doing. We are so grateful to have found such a slobbery, hairy, beautiful princess to join our family.
