About Us
Mekko is a Native American Indian Dog and Yellow Lab mix. Mekko means "Chief" in Creek. I chose a Native name because I'm Muskogee Creek through my mom. I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2014 and Mekko serves as my service dog. He helps me with walking stability, getting up if I fall, and my anxiety. He's kind of lonely right now because we lost our 15 year old dog, Jazz, recently.
