Your Rescue Story
Meet Mini, our sweet tripod rescue. We adopted Mini one month after her amputation. She was brought into a local rescue from a reservation in Northern Saskatchewan. Upon intake and examination it was determined that she had probably been hit by a vehicle and an amputation would be best. We had just lost our last pet in January 2022 and vowed that was it. BUT, I forgot to unfollow all of the rescues social media and one evening this sweet face popped up for adoption. Within minutes we were filling out an application, the next day a meet and greet was scheduled and the following day she became a permanent family member. She is a complete doll. She loves people and she loves her walks! Don't be afraid to take on a tripod, she is thriving and loves her life! Of course we do our best to keep her in tip top shape with daily supplements and trips to a specialized vet for chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture and laser treatments.
I think she actually rescued us from the grief of losing our last dog and has been such a blessing to our family.
