Your Rescue Story
We adopted Buster in February 2024. He had been in the shelter for almost a year. I could not understand why no one had adopted him him because he is such a character!
He made himself at home almost immediately and became the master of the house. He always wants to know what is going on with the humans and dogs and follows me from room to room chirping and talking. He lets you know what he's thinking and exactly what he wants whether it's playtime on the cat tree or exploring the storage room for the 100th plus time
If you are eating Buster thinks he should be eating too and wants to try everything that you have. It doesn't matter if he likes it, he just wants to be included.
They called Buster the cat whisperer as he tamed the feral kitties in just a few short days during his Humane Society stay.
We also adopted Bonnie that day who'd been in the Humane Society for 6 months as she was surrendered by the family when her owner passed away. Bonnie did not like Buster one bit! I think she must have been an only cat as she did not take well with having to share the humans. But within the week they were the best of friends, playing, sleeping and hanging out together.
In June 2024 we rescued and brought Whiskey home.
Buster and Whiskey became friends almost immediately, playing together and exploring the house together. When Buster wasn't playing with Whiskey, he was upstairs playing with Bonnie.
It took a couple months but usually all three of them are now sleeping on the bed at night.
We couldn't imagine life without them!
