‘Elephant in the room’ was part of the description on the Humane Society’s website because our Miss Winter we adopted has 3 legs. She was at the Humane Society for FIVE months!! Sooo sad!!! . Winter’s nickname soon became ‘Roo’ because when she’s walks she looks like a kangaroo hopping. Soon after she got a second nickname ‘Taz’ because when she runs she’s like a Tasmanian devil. You would never know she is missing a limb. We could send 100++ photos and experiences with our Miss Winter/Roo/Taz. She has been such a blessing in our life! To anyone that met Winter at the Humane Society and didn’t adopt her…Your Huge Loss and Our Huge Blessing. We want to say to anyone questioning adopting a pet…ADOPT! Our experience has been amazing!
