Photo Guidelines

Photo submissions must be of owned, domestic animals. Your pet does not have to be adopted from Rescue Buffalo to enter.
Photos should be in focus and of high quality, in either .jpg or .png format.
Photos must not be altered, other than minor adjustments to contrast, brightness, etc.
Photos must contain only pets – no humans.

Photo Submissions

You can submit a photo of any pet.
You may submit as many entries as you like, but they must be of different pets.
If you choose to submit a photo featuring more than one of your pets, please be aware that the contest prizes are for one pet only, so you will have to choose one pet in the photo to be the recipient of the prizes.
Any photograph that includes content that is deemed inappropriate, obscene, etc., as determined by the staff of Rescue Buffalo will be removed from the contest with no refunds.
Once entered, photos become the property of the Rescue Buffalo & Sweet Buffalo and may be used for print and digital marketing purposes, including social media.
The submission period begins at12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Monday, July 15, 2024, and ends at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
The voting period begins at 12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Monday, July 15, 2024, and ends at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, August 11, 2024.

Contest & Voting Fees

Grand prize winner must be able to travel with pet to photographer's studio during a set date and time to be named the winner.
Each entry is free.
Every $1 donation counts as one vote.
Votes are unlimited.
All donations from voting are non-refundable.
Entries and donations MUST be made via the online contest page.
There will be 5 winners. One grand prize winner who will be on the cover of The Buffalo Companion Magazine, receive a complimentary photo shoot with Tailor Mayde Photography, and an appearance on the Sweet Buffalo Show, and four runner ups who will have their stories told inside the magazine. Each winner will receive a free copy of The Buffalo Companion.
