Rules

Rules for Submissions: All submissions must be high resolution photos. If selected as a winner, a high resolution photo is required to be used in the calendar. Failure to supply a high resolution photo may lead to disqualification. Please see the category About High Resolution below for more detail. Submissions must not be copy written images that the submitter does not own or have written permission to use. Photos must be of animals, please no humans. Photos can include multiple animals. Any photo that depicts harm against animals will be disqualified. By submitting your photo(s) you are allowing Buffalo CARES to use them in mass produced calendars for fundraising purposes.

Rules for Voting: Votes are $1 each and there is no limit on the number of times that one person can vote. Individuals who spend $50 or more will receive a free calendar. Note: $50 must be in one transaction. 

About High Resolution: Most current smartphones have the ability to take high resolution photos but be sure that you are not already zoomed in when you take your picture, as that will reduce the clarity of your photo. As the submitted pictures will be blown up to 8.5 x 11 inch calendars, we want to make sure we create the highest quality product for you!

Here is a size guide to help you make sure your photo is High-Res:
3-5" - 900 x 1500 pixels*
4-6" - 1200 x 1800 pixels
5-7" - 1500 x 2100 pixels
8-10" - 2400 x 3000 pixels
