Beignet was the sweetest soul who had everlasting love to give. She never hesitated to shine in her golden year we had together. I was captivated by all that she overcame in a short amount of time. She was my best friend who ventured everywhere with me. Forever wishing we had her whole 16 years together, but the honor of being her mom for the last one is something I'll always hold dear to my heart.
