"San Francisco's Megan Slankard has more going for her than seems reasonably fair. She's whip smart, funny, a really solid guitar player and then she starts singing and blows the (unfinished) roof off the joint," says Pittsburgh, PA's Yellow Couch Sessions.

Megan, a native Californian indie rocker, has sold over 35,000 copies of her four previous independently released CDs, and she is currently touring across the US to support her band's brand new fifth album, "Running on Machinery", which was recorded with the help of Nashville producer, Alex Wong (Vienna Teng, Delta Rae). The tour has Slankard traveling the entire length of the US in both spring and again in fall 2016.
