About My Pet
This is Maddie who was rescued when she was 6 months old. For the first two weeks after bringing her home she ran, hid and wanted nothing to do with me. So I let her be. I knew she would come around eventually, I hoped anyway. She had the run of the house because she had found her way out of every confinement I could come up with even breaking out of a steel dog cage. Towards the end of the third week I walked in the door at the end of a workday and the little dog who wanted nothing to do with me came running down the hall wagging her tail, jumping up and down, so excited to see me! She hasn’t left my side since and 7 years later still greats me that way when I come home from work. She is the big sister to Milo and Cat.
