Hattie (2 yrs Shepherd/Pittie) is a Brandywine Valley SPCA alum. We wanted to rescue another dog as our older rescue was battling lymphoma. Hattie was brought in as a stray, fearful and depressed in the kennel. The moment we locked eyes with her, we knew she was coming home with us. Hattie now gives hugs, cleans up her toys on command, and gives sweet kisses to her fur-siblings. She may be the sweetest dog we have ever met, and our pack is lucky to have been saved by her! This is why we rescue.
