Pet's Story or Bio
Hi my name is Blue and this is my story.
For several years I lived in a great feral cat colony. I mean this was the Ritz of cat communities, we had heated houses, warm food twice a day and plenty of dry food for snacking and plenty of fresh water.
One day while I was relaxing in the sun I was viciously attacked by a coyote. He jumped me from behind and we had one big fight. I finally was able to chase him off but he had hurt me badly. My tummy was torn open and my back legs were all torn up. My future Dad saw my condition and tried to catch me but I was too frightened and ran away. The next day I was feeling much worse so I snuggled down in one of the heated houses hoping to feel better. This time when my future Dad tried to catch me I was too weak from my injuries to run so he grabbed me and rushed me to Just Cats Hospital where Dr Mary was going to fix me up. Dr Mary took one look at me and a look of great concern came over her face. I saw that look everyday for the next two weeks then one morning when Dr Mary came to check on me the concerned look turned into a broad smile that was when I knew I was going to be OK! A week or so later I was well enough to go home only going home this time meant that I was going to be an indoor cat and that was OK with me. Now my favorite thing to do is to climb onto my Dads shoulder and purr in his ear when he sits down on the couch. He calls me his “shoulder cat”
Saving one cat will not change the world but for that one cat the world will change forever.
