Pet's Story or Bio
Izzy is a familiar face at both Ligonier Paws on Main and PoocheyChef in Duncansville, visiting often for special celebrations and photo events. She is well known for her various bandanas, headwear, seasonal attire, and crazy costumes. Although she doesn't get excited for her costumes, she humors me by wearing them and I think even secretly enjoys the attention she receives with them on. Izzy has been with me for 11 of her almost 12 years on Earth. Despite her age, she is still full of spunk and will run to the fence for treats if she even so much as hears a door open at the neighbor's house. Izzy is becoming quite accomplished in her later years first being featured as Miss April in Franklin Integrated Interiors' 2023 Dog Calendar and more recently being selected as a participant in Bark & Gold Photography's first ever fundraiser book 'Tails of the Steel City.' Izzy is such a joy, loves people (and attention), and is the "poster dog" to defy the negative stereotype often associated with the bully breeds.
