Your Pet's Story or Bio
Darby was the sister of Zero, who I had rescued as a puppy. Zero died from a congenital defect when he was 3 months old. By chance, I was given the opportunity to adopt Darby shortly after Zero died. Then came her future best friend Eliza, who had been used as a breeder and showed up at a pet expo via our local humane society, full of stitches and scared to death at the booth across from the Weimaraner rescue where I was volunteering. They have been a blessing to me, to each other, and a fountain of youth to my 24 year old Dax, a Chihuahua/ Schipperke who undoubtedly rescued me first.
