Your Pet's Story or Bio
Bandit adopted us when he found us lost at the animal shelter in the summer of 2012. He was advertised as a border collie mix, but DNA testing showed that he is a mix of Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Entelbucher Mountain Dog, Standard Poodle and Standard Schnauzer. Because of his genetics and some prior trauma, he came to us knowing that the Apocolypse was coming with each new day, and we must surely be warned loudly and often. He was terrified of leashes, collars, men, hats, uniforms, cars, brooms, water, other dogs, noises, UPS, Fed Ex, USPS, joggers, and all manner of invisible demons large and small. He was nevertheless kind and patient with cats, children, us, and our small elderly dog. With time and love he has learned that the world is awesome and the End is not Near. We love him more than words can say.
