Yoshi--then named Cuddles- was surrendered to a shelter in NC when he was 3 years old. He was renamed Corin and became a big fluffy. Almost a year later, which included stints in two foster homes, the Nashville kennel and three months in boarding in Connecticut, he found his forever home in New Hampshire and his forever name, Yoshi.
Yoshi is a dignified gentleman except when he's a total goofball, which is most of the time. An early riser, he wakes his mom with kisses every day at 5:30 am, and at 15 minute intervals thereafter until she finally hauls her carcass out of bed. He loves long walks, basking in the sun and chasing ducks. At 135 pounds he looks like he'd lumber, but is a surprisingly stealthy killer of skunks, raccoons and groundhogs. His favorite toy is a stuffed sheep and his favorite food is a tie between dried fish skin and homemade split pea soup with ham.
Yoshi sheds like nobody's business and drools epically, but he is nothing but a huge, hairy, slimy-mouthed bundle of love.
