Your Pet's Story or Bio
My family adopted Einar from a Norwegian Elkhound rescue when he turned 6 years old. He was our 9th of 15 foster dogs, and after 6 months with no requests for him, he had become part of the family. We adopted him on his birthday, which also happened to be Christmas.

He was loving, calm, and friendly to anyone and everyone. We called him a Cloud Bender from all the puffs of fluff he left around from his thick winter coat. He always welcomed guests and was respectful of everyone's space. He only growled once at anyone, and I will always remember how proud I was that he knew I needed him to protect me at that moment.

He was 14 years old in this picture, my last day with him before he was put down over 2 weeks ago. He will always be my big fluffy old man. I will always hold him close to my heart.
