Two yrs ago, I found Bean the day before my dads funeral in the middle of a highway, sitting on a dotted line. I pulled over, flagged cars to slow down and called for him. He waddled over to me, rolled over, then got in the car, put his fat paw in my lap and looked straight ahead as if It was time to drive and neither of us ever looked back. The strange thing... My dad tried to get me a basset hound for years. For a month, I tried to find his home, but nothing. It was meant to be and he makes me laugh every day.
