Archie joined the family in 2007, after BRBR saved him from a Johnson City, Tenn., shelter, where his owner had dumped him. He came to our house as a foster dog and never left.. My children, Lu and Jack, fell in love with Archie at first sight and he fell in love with them. Big A is the best kids' dog ever. He wrestles with them, snuggles with them, sits in their laps even though he is 70 pounds of muscle, goes on vacation with them. Archie even protects his children from threats like dad waking them up in the morning for school. BRBR saved Archie, giving him a second chance at life and two kids the dog of a lifetime.
