I wasn't planning on adopting a cat that day when I walked into PetSmart (who was hosting a cat adoption event) but as I walked by his cage, he reached his paw out to stop me. The person there told me he would have a harder time being adopted because he was already an adult cat, but I knew it was love at first sight. Hobbes has been there with me through thick and thin for 12 years now. He was diagnosed with small cell GI lymphoma in 2022 and then I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023. We have stuck together going through the hardest things in life. He is the most loving, funniest character ever and he totally deserves to win!
