Tell us about your pet and why they should win!
We adopted Finn from the Wake County shelter back in 2016. He had been rescued from the streets of Raleigh, and from the get-go it was clear he had some trust issues. My husband and I have spent the intervening years helping him manage his fears, building his confidence, and, quite honestly, often wondering how we ended up with this little nugget of anxiety. But, really, that answer is clear: Finn is one of the most loving and lovable creatures I’ve ever encountered. He has taught me much about acceptance and compromise, and I can’t imagine life without him.
