Capo was my temp foster when I was fostering for Cause for Paws. I was supposed to only have him for one weekend. He has been with me for 3+ years now.
The ultimate foster fail, I had told my husband (then boyfriend at the time) to not let me adopt a 2nd dog. With just one, we could foster other dogs easily, and it was less chaos. We already had a toddler in the house and another dog.
From the second Capo was dropped off with me, he knew he was home. He immediately became obsessed with me. He would sit outside the bathroom door and cry if I attempted to have privacy. He would crawl on top of me when I sat down, thinking he was a tiny lap dog. My boyfriend tried to enforce the one dog rule I put in place. I dramatically told him I would rather move back out of his house with Capo then not adopt him. He caved, and he always says he is glad he did.
He is the most loving (and needy) dog I have ever known. All he wants is to be loved. And we do.
