Tell us about your pet and why they should win!We rescued Scarlet when she was 7 months old, found as a stray. A few days after bringing her home she was pretty ill. After many vet visits, X-rays, bronchoscopies, and a variety of medications it was determined she has ciliary dyskinesia, a disorder that leads to chronic lung infections. Scarlet is now 5 years old, and stable on chronic medications with far fewer vet visits. We love this girl so much and want to share her infectious pittie smile with everyone. She loves snuggling, baking in the sun, chomping her chuck-it ball, words of affirmation, and most of all being with her people. Girly has a lot of opinions and we’re easily (and happily) persuaded. There’s no other pup like our girl ❤️
