Scout is a 9 almost 10 year old Wheaten terrier/cocker spaniel/terrier mix (per his genetic report) who was rescued from the side of a rural VA highway in March 2015 after being abandoned per the locals. He’s become known at “the puppy lottery winner” by his human family because of his level of spoiled rottenness and many adventures. Scout loves to paddle board, kayak, hike, rock hop, camp, and pretty much be involved in any outdoor adventure his Mom takes him on, including post adventure hang outs at the local breweries. He is an almost 2 year cancer survivor of sarcoma. He was picked as a NC State Bark Ranger last year and has participated in multiple fundraisers for various nonprofits (NEDA, American Cancer Society, SPCA, and more). He’s known as quite the ham despite some abandonment anxiety from his early age, but treats and butt scritches can win him over!
