Our spunky Mona Lisa found her forever home with our family after a local rescue found her in a kill shelter in North Carolina. She was very scared and she hid at the back of the cage while other more confident and interactive kittens were adopted before her. The wise adoption team saw something in her and took a chance on her adoption and rescued this darling kitty. Her arrival helped heal our family’s broken heart after the sudden loss of our beloved cat Muffin at just eight years old. Mona Lisa came to us as a shy kitty, but has blossomed into a spunky dynamo who loves toys and spending time watching birds on our screened porch. We all just celebrated her 4th birthday and the best birthday present would be voting her Top Kitty.
