Buzz should win because for the past 17 years he has been underground feeding off the sap of tree roots, just waiting to emerge. Now, here Buzz is; he made his appearance and is glad to be here on earth celebrating. His bright scarlet red eyes and ethereal wings are very striking. Buzz chirps, trying to win over a silent female counterpart, a mate. He is respectful and is a quiet chirper, unlike his numerous cicada cousins that are having quite the celebration and are making a raucous roar! By the time the rescue brew comes out, Buzz will be gone, just a memory from your 2024 summer. Please consider honoring him with your vote, as he has chosen to honor our community with his very rare visit above ground!
