Marv is a rescue kitty from Prince George where he was found abandoned, hungry and terribly matted. After we adopted him it took a little time for us to gain his full trust but now he is loyal to the core and sticks to us like our shadow. Marv is a solid 17 pound polydactyl (extra toed) cat although some would argue he's more wolf-like than feline! He guards the house, charging the door when the mail is delivered and he even (hilariously) scared a delivery person coming down the drive, causing him to turn round and run back to his van! We tried to keep him indoors when we got him but he literally climbed the walls, so he does spend time outside but never without his catbib and big jingle bell which prevents him from doing what cats really can't help but do... ( bib was taken off for photo shoot ;) ) These hot summer days he looks forward to his daily drink from the garden hose as much as we do a nice, cold beer!
His favourite sleeping position is splayed out on his back but tempting as it is to pet his belly or play with his big paws, those are his No Zones so all one can do is be tortured by his cuteness ... he's a good cat and he loves a cuddle on his own terms but otherwise you don't mess with Marv ;)
