Animal Bio
We adopted Artemis almost 2 years ago from BC SPCA after he and his brothers were surrendered as puppies.

At the time of adoption, the estimate was that he would end up around 50 pounds as an adult. Well, on his 2nd birthday a few weeks ago, he clocked in at an impressive 101 pounds!
But Artemis is also twice as sweet , silly, playful, smart, enthusiastic, affectionate, gentle, and goofy as we expected.

Artemis is a super mutt with many different breeds making up his DNA. And we personally think he inherited only the best traits from each breed!

Fetch is life for Artemis. He will chase just about anything you can throw for him -- from his favourite frisbee to snowballs in the winter to water droplets when splashing around in a creek.

Artemis is the archetype of a gentle giant. He'll make himself as small as he can get to play with little dogs who were yipping in his face just the moment before and loves to lick kids' faces while they are learning how to pet a big dog.
(And yes, he is scared of our 13-year-old, 10-pound cat and treats her with the utmost respect!)
