Hi!

This is Marshall. A rescue dog found on the streets of California. At 4 months old he found a home and travelled up to the west coast of Canada to live with his new parents in a small mountain town! He grew fast to a whopping 120 lbs but still considered himself a lap dog. A gentle giant who loved his people fiercely. Marshall’s favourite things include chasing chipmunks, hiking, boating, playing in water, sun bathing and cheese. All.the. cheese.

He didn’t always have 3 legs. In 2022 at the age of 10 he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and needed an emergency leg amputation. Don’t worry, after only a week he was back to chasing squirrels and enjoying life! Nothing could crush his spirit.

We were told he wouldn’t have much time to live so he spent the next year living life to the FULLEST. Endless snuggles, camping trips, car rides and treats.

Marshall is an example of resilience, strength, passion, and pure joy. He is forever the worlds best dog. Anyone who knew him would whole heartedly agree. He was special.

On August 28, 2023 Marshall passed peacefully in the arms of his mom and dad. He will be missed for eternity.

To honour him I thought It would be kind of cool to toast to him and his legacy with his face on a beer can :)
