Bruno was a stray rescued by a Good Samaritan who found him with terribly infected wounds around his neck, thought to be caused by a coyote or dog. He needed intensive wound care and his 4 canine teeth were cracked and needed to be removed. His ears are scarred from an ear mite infestation which causes extreme itching, head shaking and blood vessel rupture leading to this deformity. He had a very slow heart rate which after a cardiology assessment, has been thought to be caused by pressure to his carotid arteries from his injury and neck swelling. This has resolved with his injury healing! His right shoulder also has degenerative joint disease, but this is well managed with a new injectable medication. He took awhile to warm up to his new indoor cushy life, but he is now thriving and extremely playful over a year later. He is well loved!
