Hero is the appropriate word to describe Hank. A brave little boy who wants nothing more than every single blanket in the world, his life didn't start out so grand - surrendered by his family rather than treated for a chronic skin infection (they found him 'gross') he was saved from a kill shelter by Dachshund Rescue of Los Angeles. I spotted him online while grieving the loss of my previous little wiener Dixe, flew to LA and it was love at first sight. Today, he's the charming happy go lucky little guy he always had the potential to be. Sure he's a bit light in fur, but he makes up for it in personality. Hank is my velveteen rabbit!
