Orange "Juice" Julius was surrendered to the SPCA this past spring due to being too big and too strong. He was listed as a misunderstood general of a cat that had never experienced love. He was considered unadoptable and had to be fostered in a home as he was unhappy and stressed in a shelter environment. His fabulous fosters worked hard for months to make him trust humans again. Meeting Juice this past July and looking at his sweet face, we knew he needed to be a part of our family. Juice is a big orange chonk who is loving his new life in Richmond. Whether it's on his big deck that is now a safe catio, watching the birds and bunnies who frequent his yard, or watching out the front window at the hummingbirds and dogs heading to the dike. He is also working on losing some of his chub with several daily walks on a leash in the neighbourhood in his green Grinch sweater. Juice is learning to love again and is now enjoying pets and giving high fives. He loves to nap almost all day and will only play with twist ties, string or lounging on his throne-like scratching board. He also likes to great visitors when they come to his house. His favourite treats are freeze dried sardines and tuna flakes. Juice is a big orange dude with beautiful green eyes that tries to act tough, but deep down he is a scaredy cat with the tiniest little meow. Juice is very loved and is living his very best life.
