Animal Bio
Amigo has had quite the journey. A brave and resilient boy, he was found in the streets of Iran at a young age. His eyes were badly damaged and subsequently need to be removed. After surgery, he travelled to San Jose, CA to One Planet Rescue. He was given a loving home for many years. They recently moved to Victoria, BC and, now unable to care for him, he has found his final home at about 12 years of age. Amigo’s navigation skills are remarkable and he loves playing with his toys. He only likes his dry kibble (Hill's Sensitive Stomach and Skin) and the gravy of any other wet food! He follows his humans everywhere. Amigo also has a stroller. He starts purring every time he is put in it. This gives him a little variety in his day and he has met many of his neighbours. When out and about his ears and nose twitch while he hears and smells new things and when it is sunny outside, he usually turns his face toward the sun. He is very curious, loves all animals and is a very kind soul. He is a cuddle bug. If his humans are up too late, he comes to tell them it's bed time and his favourite thing at bedtime is to get as far under the covers as he can.
