Hi, I'm Georgie! I'm almost 8, but sometimes I feel like I am still figuring out this whole "life" thing. You see, I came from the streets of the Bahamas, so I didn't really know what love or trust was at first. I spent my first three years just trying to survive, and when I found my new family at 5, I wasn't sure what to make of all this affection stuff.

But I'm learning and gaining confidence. I'm super smart and I LOVE when my humans teach me new things. I'm still a little nervous around new people, but every day I get braver. I even started asking Mom and Dad for affection (and trust me, I give the best kisses)! My humans say it's heart-melting, whatever that means.

I really like meeting other dogs, especially ones my size or smaller. I am gentle with nervous dogs and I will back off and give them their space, but if they are up for some fun, I'm all in! I'll show off my 360's and put on the best zoomies show! I know how to make a game out of anything - hide and seek is one of my favourites. And I also help my humans open the mail, like a good little assistant!

When I'm not helping out or being all brave and playful, I love going on little adventures - like going for walks and hikes, exploring lakes and creeks, and spotting squirrels (I'm a pro at finding them!). I also really enjoy snuggling up with my Mom.

I'm still learning new things every day, but I'm getting braver and braver, and I can feel all the love around me. Life's pretty awesome after all!
