Animal Bio
Originally known as DeeDee, we began the foster to adopt process for Ellie just before Christmas. She had just turned four months old and immediately we saw she had a large personality stuffed into a tiny little body. She loves playing with other dogs, regardless of size or whether they want to play with her. Her appetite for fun is only surpassed by her actual appetite as she is a little vacuum when it comes to time eat!

Ellie is a French bulldog/pitbull cross. Not long into her foster, we soon discovered how loving she could be. She has become such a huge part of our life and is literally at our side every possible moment. Ellie is very affectionate and is always a big hit anywhere we try to go as she is not afraid to be very social. Walks with her take twice as long as normal as every person wants to meet her and she is always willing to oblige. This little girl also loves to explore and has been thriving on little trips to parks, the beach, and the surrounding forests in Greater Victoria. Colder days she wants nothing more than a fluffy blanket and a whole lot of cuddles!

Unfortunately, she has several health issues that we are trying to navigate with the SPCA before full adoption can be completed. With several planned surgeries ahead and a lot of luck, we are hoping this beautiful pup can live a long full life with us by her side. Despite these challenges, Ellie is not deterred from enjoying every day and bringing joy to all those she interacts with.
