Animal Bio
Chica is a Chisenji (basenji-chihuahua hybrid). She is 1.5 years old and came to Canada from Zihuatanejo, Guerrero State in Mainland Mexico. We found her at the SPCA there. She was in a separate cage from the street dogs and was apparently a stray. She was the only dog not barking so we figured she was the one for us, since we live in a condo. She might have ended up living in Spain with a nice British family but there was a mix-up with their vaccines and they could not re-enter Spain. We have completed our basic dog training and we would like to get her started in agility training in the Spring. Chica is super-bright and has a wonderful personality. She loves everybody and everybody loves her. Unsurprisingly, she is not fond of vacuums.
