Bao Lin is between 6 to 8 years old. She is a rescue from China. She arrived on Sept 29 along with 18 other lucky furry friends. This was one of last few rescue flights from China. She is a Maltese, Shih Tzu or Havanese mixed. Her teeth was in very bad shape, full of tartar. Vet had to pull 12 teeth. She had lost 12 already. She has a heart murmur as well as arthritis in her hind legs. Despite all this, she is full of spunk and love. She loves to play with her stuff toys, go for walks and car rides. She is becoming our little guard dog as she barks at anyone driving or walking up to our door. She has settled in quite nicely and has become very comfortable with her furever home and family. In this picture, she had climbed into her car seat as a way of asking to be taken for a car ride. When she wants something, she sits upright like this.
