Entrant's First NameLeslie
Animal BioWe acquired him from a farm in Quick (Northern BC) a little over 4 years ago. We deliberately went for a mongrel, feeling he would be the least likely to have medical issues. Well, around 2 1/2 years he started losing weight and having other issues. He was finally diagnosed with EPI, something I had never heard of. He is now a full time job and we are glad we are retired and have the time to spend with him. He has some heeler in him and he is full of energy and wants to go all the time. Loves playing in the woods and chasing birds . He is quite protective and a sensitive dog. He is an incredible jumper (as can be seen in the photo). He has to be fed raw food (which I make every two days) and I feed him 5x a day. He fills our life with a lot of laughter, joy and love. His name means Kiss in Inuit. (I changed the spelling slightly.) He should have a full and happy life if we can continue to give him the best of care.
