Mimi landed in Kelowna last October, after a 38-hour trip from Brazil. She is a rescued dog. In July / 2018 we found her wandering in the parking lot of a supermarket in Campinas (Brazil), the city where we lived before moving to Kelowna. She seemed lost, following everyone and walking among the cars. Her skin was covered with scabies and she had a piece of rope around her neck. We decided to take her home. She quickly became healthy and put on weight and adapted completely to our family, with children and cats close by. She's the sweetest dog ever! We never trained her, but she has the best behaviour and loves children. We couldn't be any luckier. When we moved to Kelowna about two years ago, it was not possible to bring her in immediately. She stayed with my mom and was having all the affection and love in Brazil. Even so, she was very happy to meet us again. And we are very grateful to have Mimi as part of our family.
