We were sipping on a perfect Prosecco at the Borgoluce Vineyard outside of Venice Italy when we found out Luce was going to be ours! Her name was a given based on where we were, and then when we used google translate....Luce means light, how perfect! She is the light of our life - literally. She has licked tears from our cheeks, never chooses a side in a fight, and always comes to distract you as soon as you feel a productive spark. Luce walks up to dogs and humans alike and rolls onto her back to ask for belly rubs. So if you ever run into her, please just offer the belly rub right away...begging is so unbecoming!
