The miracle that was "Brady" came into our lives 3 months after our first chocolate lab, Ollie, died at age 14. Although we signed on for "compassionate care" at the time -- in truth, he rescued us. They were the fullest, most amazing 6 years of dog-centric life! An incredible companion, adored by all those who knew him. In early years he would visit Children's Hospital to raise the spirits of boys and girls, with his first owner, a paramedic and former fire fighter. Brady had an amazing capacity for love, and an innate sense of empathy. His joyful, playful nature resonates through thousands of photos, but most acutely, in our hearts. His beautiful spirit, always present in those soulful eyes and actions, return to us in moments by a shoreline, 'neath a tree, or simply when we are bundled up near the home hearth.
