WOOF: My name is Lexi, and I'm almost 5 years old. I am a small Standard Poodle with unusual colors, that are called Black Merle.
Can I share a secret...? I used to be scared of car/truck rides... but I'm getting so much better, now I just relax and enjoy the rides. I love to see the world go by. I also figured out that its way better to go out with my family than to stay at home woof woof!!

I love 10km walks with my Papa and running around my big fully fenced back yard. My favourite pastimes are chewing sticks and chasing balls in the yard. I also love to snuggle with my Momma.

Though I myself was not a rescue, I feel like I sorta rescued my people... especially my Momma. She is allergic to ALL animals except.... yup, you guessed it... purebred Poodles!! And she waited a very long time to give a poodle a forever home and I am so blessed and lucky that she picked me!!! And of course... my Papa.... he loves to go for walks but used to go all by himself... now, we have great fun walking together.

We are a family and I am so happy to have one. My Momma is a great cook, she makes me 'foodies' and its so healthy and nutritious the Vet said to keep it up cause I'm so fit and strong and not an ounce overweight!!

I don't mind if I don't win this contest so much - I just want to make sure the BC SPCA gets all the money they need to help animals who aren't as lucky as me!
